Countertop Installed

Today was the day for the installation and it took only two hours. It went pretty smooth except when they were installing the large piece. It was really tight and I was waiting to hear a big CRACK as it split into multiple pieces. But these guys were good and shortly it went into place.

The faucet is not installed because I have to wait till tomorrow to do the plumbing. But I wanted to get the photos up ASAP like I promised.

We have a squatter
Windy for San Diego
Couple of days ago we had a storm move through and it was windy. Not like Wyoming, but for us windy.

Really, really nice! Especially the way it accents that professionally laid tile floor. Was that guy cutting the faucet hole in a picture? Would have thought they would have done that at the shop but I guess marble is softer than granite... They had to use a drill press type thing to cut the holes in mine. Very classy... seal it immediately.

Thanks!
That is one of the things that drew us to this slab was that some of the veins matched the floor. That floor does look good huh :)

Yes they were drilling the hole for the faucet. When I had the granite installed at my other place they also drilled it after installation. Maybe it is a Cali thing?

When they installed it they also sealed it.
