It appears that with the passage of the "POMA" (pay our military act) that congress passed put me back to work. The DoD called most of its workers back on Monday and since that was my day off I went back today. We are behind and need some catching up to do but overall it's not too bad. After all it was less than a week.
However this shutdown is confusing. Most government services are open and running, but the open air monuments are closed. Makes no sense at all...but wait it's the government, so it really does make sense, in a perverted way.
