Last week we had our annual January birthday party since we have many friends who all celebrate their birthdays in the month of January. Each year we celebrate at a different house and this year we celebrated at the condo of one of our friends. Since they live in a condo there is a common kitchen that can be rented out that was large enough for everyone.
The menu consisted of Calamari, Fried Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp,Paella, Tonkatsu, Spanish Omelet, and Ron's homemade carrot cake. The carrot cake was the most interesting because of the shape it ended up. We thought it looked like a football stadium with a retractable roof. Let me know what you think it looks like.
BACKYARD HIKING!!
I had to clean ivy off my back wall so while I was at it I decided to hike down the hill and see what was there. Thankfully no dead bodies but, I did find three old beer kegs. Further down there is a chain link fence, which is probably the property line. I don't think I will take the hike very often because I can hardly walk now. I am so sore!!!!

This morning when I let Kuuipo out I noticed the dew on the grass and the sun was hitting it just right. I had to take a picture of it. (no it is not a picture of the house for sale)

The 1st picture of carrot cake looks like very simply designed shoulder bag, but I believe it tasted good!
No more hike down and up, just enjoy flat walking with Kuuipo.
I think the carrot cake could be interpreted to just about anything LOL.
I don't think Kuuipo would care much for the up and down.
