Master Bath Project: Day 12

The walls are now redguarded thanks to "A" .  It looks like we will begin tiling tomorrow (Sunday).  The hard part is figuring out where to start and the exact layout so that we will not have slivers of tile where they would be highly visible.

Also today the contractor began his demo work on the planter and wall. I will have pictures of that on tomorrow's post.

for the floor, start at the center of the doorway using a running bond pattern. For the shower, dry fit and make your cuts, again fit from the center out with a whole tile centered. When ready to start affixing tiles to the wall, begin in the corner working both legs (sides) of the "L" so you get a neat corner all the way up. If you have any questions call me. Are you placing the tub before tiling or taking the tile all the way to the floor before installing tub? If using same tile for tub and floor, will you align them down the wall to match the floor tile?

Great advice, too bad I just read it and have already began the tile job. LOL.

We ran the outside tiles up and worked it so that we would have less cuts it possible with now slivers.

I will follow the floor recommendation with a running bond. Thanks!!
